'emptiness speaks to emptiness'

There are different forms of emptiness, in this image I captured several of those forms. The emptiness of the place where you expect to see a head (the ultimate form of emptiness in a human being?), the emptiness of the TV (how shallow and hollow is the stuff we see on television?) and the emptiness of which Buddha speaks (and why is Buddha so immensely popular in the rich parts of Europe?)

You can't avoid the confrontation with emptiness in the search of the meaning of life in our culture. There were loads of reactions to this piece of art: surprise, annoyed, recognition. True art is never optional.
