Tapestry
Zijlstra designed a tapestry for the Baptist Church in Huizen. The colours and the composition connect with the roughly built wall on which it is displayed. The image shows the vociferous quails flying above the desert from the book of Exodus. Even in difficult times in our lives, God of Israel provides us with rations.
This design has been transformed in an extraordinary way to a tapestry of 5 by 1,5 meters by Marion de la Rive Box.
